The Pasifika platter uses fine banded pattern and lets the timber grain show through. The Kōwhaiwhai platter uses flowing curls in bold resin colour. Both are 60cm, both are food-grade sealed, and both are the same price.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eWill mine look exactly like the photos?\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf you’re after perfection, our pieces might not be for you. The artist, Jason, was born and raised in Māngere, South Auckland, is of Waikato descent, and holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from MIT in Auckland. Every piece is designed and finished by hand by Māori and Pasifika makers, so no two are exactly the same.
