The two of us behind Hori.Inc

Every platter individually designed. Every mirror hand engraved. That's the whole point.

Jason is the artist behind Hori.Inc. Born and raised in Māngere, South Auckland, he grew up surrounded by Māori and Polynesian cultures. These roots, alongside the urban style and creative energy of South Auckland, continue to shape his artwork. Of Waikato descent, he holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from MIT in Auckland and enjoys creating across all kinds of media.

For Jason, it's about making something that has meaning: pieces that tell a story, remind you of home, or connect you to your people and who you are.

Rose is from Te Āti Haunui-a-Pāpārangi and looks after everything else. She plans what's coming up, answers your questions, and handles stock and postage. If you have an idea for a piece, even if you don't know exactly what you want yet, get in touch and she'll help you shape it.

From design to your table

If you’re after perfection, our pieces might not be for you. But if you love character, authenticity and unique cultural pieces, you’re in the right place. Every piece is designed and created by hand, with a personal touch that means no two pieces are exactly the same.

  1. Designed by hand

Every pattern is drawn individually — so every piece has its own character.

  2. Painted & engraved

Brushstroke textures and hand engraving give an authentic, handmade finish.

  3. Food-grade sealed

Platters and lazy Susans are sealed with food-grade sealant, ready for the spread.

  4. Pick-up or post

Collect in Penrith NSW or Point Cook VIC by arrangement, or we post anywhere in Australia and New Zealand. Mirrors are pick-up only.
