The Small Lazy Susan is a 40cm spinning board, hand designed and painted with Māori kōwhaiwhai resin colour or fine Pasifika pattern. It’s made for sauces, sides and the middle of a smaller table, so everyone can reach without passing plates.

  • Size: 40cm round, spinning
  • Finish: sealed with food-grade sealant
  • Designs: 13 to choose from, in kōwhaiwhai resin colour or hand-painted Pasifika pattern
  • Made: by hand in Penrith NSW or Point Cook VIC

Is the lazy Susan food safe?

Yes. Every lazy Susan is sealed with a food-grade sealant after it’s designed and painted.

Which size should I choose?

The 40cm small suits sauces, sides and smaller tables. The 46cm Medium Lazy Susan gives you more room for shared dishes, and the 60cm platters are our biggest boards. The last photo shows the sizes side by side.

Is it in stock?

Yes. The pieces in the photos are in stock and ready to send or collect. If the one you love has sold, or you want a different colour, we can make one to order. Allow roughly 6 weeks.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?

If you’re after perfection, our pieces might not be for you. But if you love character, authenticity and unique cultural pieces, you’re in the right place. Every piece is designed and created by hand, with a personal touch that means no two pieces are exactly the same.

Can I get a different design or colour?

Yes. Custom pieces are welcome. Get in touch with your idea and we’ll quote it. Custom pieces need a 25% deposit to lock in your order.

Who makes Hori.Inc pieces?

Hori.Inc is a Māori and Pasifika design studio based in Penrith, Western Sydney and Point Cook, West Melbourne. The artist, Jason, was born and raised in Māngere, South Auckland, is of Waikato descent, and holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from MIT in Auckland. Every piece is designed and finished by hand by Māori and Pasifika makers, so no two are exactly the same. Brushstrokes, engraving and pattern placement vary from piece to piece, and that's what makes yours one of a kind.

How does delivery and pick-up work?

We offer standard tracked shipping across Australia: AUD $25 for orders under $250, or $42 for orders of $250 and over. Sending a piece to New Zealand? Get in touch and we'll arrange a delivery quote for you. All prices are in Australian dollars. You can also pick up by arrangement from Penrith NSW or Point Cook VIC.

Can I pay with Afterpay?

Yes. Afterpay is available at checkout, so you can split the price into four interest-free payments.
